Excellent in case of flu, known for its digestive properties and rich in vitamin E and B6, potassium, phosphorus, and calcium, ginger is also a perfect ingredient for the preparation of a delicious, refreshing drink:
Ingredients
- 750 ml of water
- 1 untreated lemon
- 6 cm of fresh ginger
Preparation
Boil the water and then pour it into a pitcher with the untreated lemon and the sliced ginger. Leave to infuse for 20 minutes, strain, and serve the drink hot or cold.
Refreshing Drink Recipe With Cedar And Mint
Cedar, like ginger, is also a food rich in nutrients that are beneficial to health. It has germicidal, disinfectant, digestive, and anticancer properties; it is a natural antihypertensive and a real ally in case of cystitis.
Ingredients
- 3 liters of water
- 3 untreated cedars
- 500 grams of sugar
- A bunch of mints
Preparation
Boil the rind of the 3 untreated cedars in 3 liters of water and, after 10 minutes, add the chopped pulp and sugar and cook for 2 hours. Filter, add the bunch of mints, and let it cool. Store in the refrigerator.
